Software Development – Built new features and maintained custom in-house application support for applications supporting the public defense, district attorney, and probation departments. I built internal user management feature that allowed customers/non-technical to fix data/add new charges to cases automatically without sending in a request, which reduced internal monthly service requests.
Business Intelligence – used Microsoft SSRS and Power BI to leverage internal data for public facing dashboards, reports, and data visualization for non-technical audiences.
Production Support – Supported all ends of deployment for new features. Also used SQL to research/fix customer data discrepancies and make sure that data followed state/federal law. Worked together with various police agencies to manage user permissions/accounts.

Team Research Leader – I lead year-around research project on a variety of public policy topics, managing research assignments and making decisions about which research is best served for competition. Under my leadership the team has grown from 4 to 50+ students and competing with larger programs with success on the national circuit.
● Communication Specialist – I train students to communicate technical research and statistics to any audience with public speaking on stage, mostly for adults who have zero prior knowledge of the topic.
